Just a year out of university, Zoe Murphy is already enjoying great success. She is working really hard to keep pace with demand for her lovely, colourful furniture and textiles.
Loughborough University textile graduate Zoe is inspired by the 1950s and her home town of Margate – with its seaside air, fish ‘n chip shops and retro cafes with Formica table tops. Her pieces have already been snapped up by the likes of Liberty.

Zoe reclaims old, unwanted and dated furniture, before setting to work, stripping back the layers of varnish and then re-inventing them, adding colourful and decorative printed panels to create covetable, modern pieces. She also has a range of pieces upholstered with her colourful textiles and a great range of cheerful printed cushions.
