Set in a huge space at the Old Sorting Office in New Oxford Street, Red Bull staged a great 3 day showcase of emerging fashion design, illustration and photography, entitled Fashion Factory. The catwalk event on Monday September 21 featured four recent Central Saint Martins fashion graduates, Jamie Cockerill, Marie Hill, Tessa Edwards and Philip Preiswerk.

Jamie Cockerill’s collection opened the show with lean, mean sexy black silhouettes, looped with decorative chains. This body con is for just for the brave, but his strong, uncompromising style should ensure him plenty of young fans.
Marie Hill’s colourful, complex slashed and strung detailing on skin-tight lycra dresses was next up. Marie creates a futuristic yet feminine vibe with decorative spirograph pattern clinging to curves. The futurism continued with Tessa Edwards’ dramatic, decorative collection featuring some great leather and super shiny PVC pieces. Last up Philip Preiswerk’s amazing dramatic constructions made a fitting finale to the show. Preiswerk – whose fans include Lady Ga Ga , wowed the crowd with his inventive, voluminous show-stopping creations.
