Aminika Wilmont autumn/winter 2010/11
The Scandinavian duo that create the outstanding Aminika Wilmont have once again shown at London’s Victoria House what amazing fashion they can create.
Aminika Wilmont brought us loose fabrics and billowing material that cascaded onto the figure. With the signature colour pallete of metallic greys and off whites, blending into chalky blacks the combination of unfitted fabrics and fading colour worked really well.

The clothing collection was cleverly cut, not intentionally figure hugging, yet clinging onto the body showing curves and outlines. This collection revealed the figure in a subtle way. A sophisticated approach to AW10, with high ruched neck lines and asymmetric finishes, this catwalk show defined style and communication.
Aminika Wilmont’s collection is all about contrast. Exaggerated silhouettes with a soft approach, violent busy patterns portrayed in a silent manner, and the obvious, yet not understated, black and white colour scheme. The opposites attract in this season’s catwalk and bring an exciting trend for the second half of 2010.
