Day 5 saw Peter Pilotto, Krystof Strozyna and Jonathan Saunders, a fabulous video by Boudicca, plus William Tempest, Alice Palmer and Ada Zanditon at Vauxhall Fashion Scout.

Peter Pilotto fused diffused snakeskin prints with grey melange and fur trims in neutrals with flashes of brilliant orange. and sliver. Krystof Strozyna looked to futuristic cuts in blacks with bright pink and lilac tones. Jonathan Saunders fused deep rich blues with pale creams and greys for a spring-like collection for warm autumn days.

Boudicca produced a beautiful video in soft black and white – almost sepia, with only the interjection of a bright cobalt blue, and accents of gold.

Over at Vauxhall Fashion Scout, William Tempest’s ‘Under the Abaya’ took inspiration from the sweeping modernist architecture of the Gulf States and the drapery of middle-eastern dress. Alice Palmer’s a/w 2010 collection is entitled Batman and is black and white with pointy and sharp accents taken from the cartoon hero. Ada Zanditon’s Echolocation gave us sustainable fashion using a mix of abstract printing in greys and bold pink and purple tones.
