As part of her Alternative Wedding Show 2010, Kath Libbert has invited ten top jewellery makers to create a special tiara for the occasion.
Nicola Malkin is a ceramics artist who this year presents tiaras made from clusters of porcelain roses, pink hawthorn blossom and forget-me-nots, while Nicola Perkins blends traditional with modern for a tiara featuring tiny beading and mother-of-pearl.
Malcolm Morris; Ruth Tomlinson
Ruth Tomlinson takes inspiration from her signature ‘Flora’ collection inspired by the delicacy of nature, using a unique combination of porcelain and precious metals. Malcolm Morris’s version is a simple modern style.
Fiona Cameron; Sarah Lawrence; Bex Bardon
The ten pieces will be voted on by the public, who themselves get entered into a Prize Draw to win £100 voucher to use at the gallery. The tiara maker who gets the most votes will also win £100.
