Students from the MA Sequential Design/Illustration and Arts & Design courses at The University of Brighton are gearing up for the opening of what is set to be a spectacular graduate exhibition. Featuring 17 students in total, the exhibition will feature a variety of work ranging from animation to illustrated books, experimental writing, product design, typography and packaging.
The Sequential Design/Illustration course at the University of Brighton attracts illustrators, designers and animators alike, all eager to explore the principles of sequence within their chosen creative practices. Gallit Shaltiel will showcase a series of animations and prints which depict depressed states of mind, Pongsakorn Thongsuk will share his designs for a range of books and t-shirts which explore a variety of narratives and Lenka Hrehova will display her illustrated book of Eastern European proverbs.
The Arts and Design by Independent Project course focuses on experimentation and innovation. One of the graduates to look out for from this course is Angela Kurniawan who has created a range of humorous products designed to alleviate the feelings of angry, heartbroken or generally miserable members of the public.
