Vienna Design Week 11: Brass & Crafts, Lucidipevere at WOKA

Italian designers Paolo Lucidi and Luca Pevere who form the partnership LucidiPevere were paired with traditional lighting specialists WOKA, as part of the Austrian design initiative Passionwege. Brass & Crafts is the duo’s homage to the shiny golden metal.

Lucidipevere started with sketches that show the coat-hanger based system that will be clothed in the brass pieces. We love these images from the WOKA workshop showing the brass being hammered to create the series of patterns that give the metal its glinting lure of treasure.
