International moving image, digital art and design organisation onedotzero present their Adventures In Motion 2011 festival, opening tomorrow at the BFI Southbank, London. Now in its 15th year, the 2011 event will feature film previews, interactive installations, live audio-video performances, talks, workshops and educational activities.
Amongst the several screening programs which are scheduled throughout the event, ARTS THREAD are really looking forward to Wavelength, a showcase of some of the most eye-catching music videos created by a selection of hotly-tipped industry newcomers as well as Wow + Flutter, a staple of the Adventures in Motion festival, which forecasts the future of the moving image.
Another must-see is the New British Talent 11 screening which highlights the work of the UK’s most promising student and graduate film makers. Covering a vast range of genres, visual styles, live action and animation, this screening will be the perfect opportunity to catch your first glimpse of some of the superstar film makers of the future!
The big-screen isn’t the only place where you can see some of the outstanding work on display at the festival. Several installations including a collaborative piece by Jane Grant, John Matthias, Nick Ryan and Kin, will fill the open spaces of the BFI Southbank, allowing visitors to experience the moving image in an immersive fashion.
Adventures In Motion runs from 23rd – 27th November at BFI Southbank.
