We noticed some strong fashion and textile projects last week at the Design Academy Eindhoven graduate exhibition – here are our favourites.

Entitled Up Close Wide Open, the 2012 edition of the Design Academy Eindhoven graduate show took place at deWitteDame throughout the eight days of Dutch Design Week showcasing 137 projects from 128 graduating students.

Italian designers Paolo Lucidi and Luca Pevere who form the partnership LucidiPevere were paired with traditional lighting specialists WOKA, as part of the Austrian design initiative Passionwege . Brass & Crafts is the duo’s homage to the shiny golden metal.

On display at Frühbauer Bakery in Vienna until October 09 2011, Freshly Baked sees designer Vera Wiedermann transform the traditional store into a food laboratory.
