Design Village highlights, Designersblock, Interiors UK 2012

Designersblock collaborated with the UK’s largest trade interiors event, Interiors UK, to curate a Design Village at the Birmingham NEC. The Village contained unique products and market stalls from up-and-coming and award-winning designers, B&Bs designed by top interior designers and even a Village Local where you could grab a pint and chat with the exhibiting creatives. Birmingham City University: Global Color Research, Interiors UK 2012

Birmingham City University presented their interpretations of Global Color Research and Mix Publications trends for Autumn/Winter 2012-13 at Interiors UK 2012. The students from the University’s Institute of Art and Design interpreted two up-coming trends: Ember and Tender.

Mary Portas & House of Fraser, Interiors UK 2012

British retail adviser and television presenter Mary Portas teamed up with House of Fraser to find Britain’s next top homeware designers. The top entrants were exhibited at Interiors UK where the designers were given the chance to pitch their ideas to Mary Portas’ business partner, Peter Cross. LDF11: Kingston University MA exhibition highlights
