It turned out to be the territory of a group of Central St Martin’s graduates under the banner ’801 Designers’. Innovation and playfulness seemed to be common attributes for their work.

Kami Pots, Ett La Benn

Mint explores the unconventional in this year’s LDF, featuring the work of 60 designers from around the world, with an emphasis on the use of materials to produce the least likely of products and finishes. Open until Friday September 30th, look out for everything from seating, tables and lighting to jewellery, ceramics and much more.

It was ‘all about the girls’ in East London on Friday as several of the area’s most exciting female-led graphic design studios opened their doors for a new, inspired concept for London Design Festival – the Graphic Design Walk.

The Auction Room

All the fun of DESIGNERSBLOCK culminates on Sunday with the ingeniously curated ‘The Auction Room’, in which everything from the chairs that bidders sit on to the hammer itself are up for auction.

Noma Bar, Cut it Out

This year Outline Editions has invited the ‘ingenious and award winning graphic artist Noma Bar to create a one-man show.’ The result is ‘Cut it Out’, a giant dog shaped embossing device. Specially commissioned, this interactive art-making machine can be used by visitors who wish to create their own cut-out Noma Bar images.
