Vauxhall Fashion Scout hosted the D.Gnak by Kang.D autumn/winter 11/12 show today and it did not disappoint. With tailoring taken to a whole new level, the runway was showcasing pieces that have given the classic suit a contemporary twist, filled with tweeds and unfinished hems; this collection was a combination of British influence with an East Asian twist.

Quirky yet casual knitwear graced the room at Sibling’s A/W 11 collection entitled ‘Darn The Boozer’ at Somerset House at London Fashion Week today. Inspired by pubs, pandas and cables – the designers impressed with impeccably designed knitwear ranging from beanie hats to knitted all in ones; they say the collection is “for wrapping up and keeping up”.

Geometric pieces and monochrome coloured knitwear filled the runway today as Alice Palmer presented her A/W 11 collection titled ‘Into The Void’ at Vauxhall Fashion Scout – it featured her original polyhedra knitting techniques and the designs were somewhat futuristic yet still remained classic.

Executed to perfection, Amr’s collection started with dimmed lights and a loud, passionate Egyptian protester on the sound track of the show. The catwalk kicked off with off the shoulder body sculpting dresses, styled with brightly coloured fur jackets, followed by a series of knee length dresses nipped in at the waist that created an immaculate silhouette.
Thigh high splits on maxi dresses, cheeky body con skirts and red lips were offered up at London-based label Body AMR’s presentation at Vauxhall Fashion Scout this afternoon.
